The WARISAN 12'16 organizing committee took center stage at WTCKL during the annual SDARA Dinner 2026 hosted by the 89'93 batch! Setting up the official SDARA Futsal 2026 registration booth alongside an array of exciting vendor setups, the team connected with alumni as early hi-tea kicked off at 5 PM.

The atmosphere outside Dewan Merdeka was lively, fueled by live band performances, fresh brewed coffee, and piping hot teh tarik—a vibe that was simply sur! To make the night even sweeter, one of our own WARISAN batchmates walked away with the grand lucky draw prize: a brand new EV scooter!

It was incredible catching up with familiar faces, legendary seniors, respected teachers, and former educators. True to the grand dinner motto—No Batch Left Behind—the SDARA brotherhood was present in full force.

We are also thrilled to announce a massive milestone: 51 teams have officially registered for SDARA Futsal 2026!

•Open Category: 24 teams (2 teams representing each batch across the entire Open generation from 2014 to 2025)

The SDARA Futsal 2026 tournament is an exclusive event open only to verified alumni of Sekolah Dato' Abdul Razak (SDARA).

This year, the tournament moves to a new venue at SLK to provide participants with upgraded, high-quality facilities and a fresh competitive atmosphere. Each participating team is allowed to register a maximum of eight players, which includes their goalkeepers.

To keep the competition balanced, the tournament features five distinct age categories: Lower Open (ages 18–23), Upper Open (ages 24–29), Otai (ages 30–39), Super Otai (ages 40–49), and Legend (ages 50 and above).

Please note that the 2026 edition introduces important technical changes for the Open Category, details of which are available in the official tournament FAQ. Specifically, while this category is split into Lower and Upper divisions during the group stage to ensure fair matching based on batch age, all of these teams will eventually face off against each other in the knockout stage to compete for the championship.

Interested teams are encouraged to take advantage of the early bird registration fee of RM 325, which is available now until August 1, 2026. Let’s come together once again to celebrate our shared spirit and participation!

We begin by extending our heartiest congratulations to the GEMILANG 11’15 Batch for the incredible success of SDARA Futsal 2025 🔥 Following tradition, the baton has now been passed to the next generation.

SDARA Futsal 2026 will be proudly hosted by the WARISAN 12’16 Batch 🤟🏻, in collaboration with dedicated partners committed to making this year’s tournament run smoothly.

We look forward to the unwavering support and participation of the entire SDAR Alumni community. Let’s come together once again to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood across all batches molded by our beloved alma mater!

The futsal tournament that took place today witnessed a mesmerizing performance from young star Zhariff Tun, who became the heartbeat of his team in leading the 13’17A batch to the championship title.

Zhariff, who shouldered the responsibility as a forward, put on a stellar performance throughout the tournament, scoring a total of 7 goals. However, that figure was only a small part of his contribution on the court. Throughout the matches, Zhariff was seen focusing more on creating space and orchestrating tactical plays, allowing his teammates to be actively involved in every attacking threat.

The team manager described Zhariff as a complete package—a combination of blistering pace, dazzling dribbling skills to mislead opponents, and highly clinical finishing. However, the aspect that stood out the most was the selfless attitude displayed by the young player.

"Zhariff is not just a Top Scorer. He is the player who brings the game to life. Every pass and movement is aimed at securing the team's victory, not just for personal records," said a statement from the 13’17A camp.

This victory seals Zhariff's status as a key figure who successfully drove the dominance of the 13’17A squad on the court today. His ability to stay focused under high pressure proves that he is a bright future prospect capable of leading the team to greater heights.

Congratulations to Hadi Aiman @ Loque ‘12 (08’12A) — the 08’12A batch goal machine who simply doesn't know the meaning of tired!

With 10 goals, every single touch of his was like an auto-lock straight to the net — even the keeper panicked every time the ball was at his feet!

Agile movements, solid finishing, perfect timing — a legendary striker who had everyone shouting, "Eh, this is a confirmed goal!!"

Respect to Loque, everyone knows who he is… a hero on the court, even if there's no photo of him receiving the award because his teammates all went home early to rush for another game tonight!

The 08’12A Top Scorer who showed legendary skill and style — a true hero on the court!
